Betting summary: +40
Round 6 of the Premier League looks set to be the most exciting of the season so far with two headline matches in Chelsea vs Manchester City and Arsenal vs Tottenham. It’s already shaping up to be an exciting season at the top of the table with Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City all hovering near the top. Chelsea will look to put further distance between them and City when they meet tomorrow lunchtime.
Round 5 saw wins for Brentford, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United, Watford and Brighton. The points were shared between Leeds and Newcastle and surprisingly Manchester City and Southampton.
It was another weekend where our selections hit the crossbar with two of our selections coming in but we missed out thanks to Brentford’s victory over Wolves. We are still in profit sitting at +40 for the season and we hope to pick up the winning thread again this week.

Bet 1: Liverpool to beat Brentford - 1/2
Eight points from five games is a fine return for Brentford who look like Premier League naturals. They really caught the eye with a dominant win against Wolves who previously had looked really good. This is the Bees biggest test so far as they welcome a Liverpool side who have enjoyed a fantastic start to the season.
Liverpool have had a reasonably gentle start to the season fixture wise and they are making the most of it. With Virgil Van Dijk returning to the side they look defensively sound and their attacking players all seem to have found their scoring touch. At odds of 1/2 I think that’s fantastic value and i’m backing the Reds to keep their momentum going.
Bet 2: Everton to beat Norwich 8/13
For those that read these articles weekly, you will know I have backed against Norwich several times this season. The Canaries have had a tough start to the season already facing Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal and Leicester. Last week was an opportunity for them to test themselves against fellow new boys Watford and their defensive deficiencies showed as they lost 3-1 at home.
Everton’s positive start to the season was stopped in it's tracks as they conceded three quick goals to lose 3-0 away to Aston Villa. Still the start the Toffees have had under new boss Rafa Benitez has been a strong one. This is a match that Everton will really fancy themselves to win and their home form has been good, as they have won both home matches so far 3-1.
Bet 3: Arsenal vs Tottenham- under 2.5 goals Yes - 8/11
Rewind a few weeks ago and it was the white half of North London who were wearing the smiles as Tottenham sat at the top of the table and Arsenal were rock bottom. However the tide has turned as Spurs have lost both of their last two league games 3-0 and Arsenal have picked up a brace of 1-0 wins.
Goals are a concern for Tottenham as they have only scored three goals all season with only one coming from open play. The form of Harry Kane is a concern with the Spurs hitman looking dejected towards the end of the Chelsea defeat. They will need him back to his best if Tottenham are to win away at Arsenal for the first time in 11 years.
Arsenal look to have turned a corner and will be pleased that they now have 6 points on the board, granted the opposition hasn't been the hardest but two clean sheets and some of their players coming into form has been a welcome sight for Mikel Arteta.
They come into this North London Derby with all the momentum and this writer fancies them for the victory. However both sides will want to keep it tight and I see it being a nervy encounter with few goals. We are backing the under 2.5 goals market here.
A bet on Liverpool, Everton and there being under 2.5 goals in the Arsenal Tottenham game returns approx 4/1.
